EARTH, AIR, BLOOD, WATER

In this theme I modified the context of four elements replacing fire with blood. Blood signifies battle and combat, earth, air and water endangered conditions of existence.
The basic form of the parts of this work is a square box painted blue from the outside. I have made Earth - Drought of different shades of unglazed earthenware tiles, Air - Fair with different shades of gazed white tiled, BLOOD - FLOOD with different shades of glazed red tiles and WATER - WAR with different shades of glazed blue tiles.

BLOOD, AIR, WATER

The latest work on this theme consists of three large relieves. The shape of BLOOD is that of the aorta. The shape of AIR is that of the bronchia. WATER has obtained its form from the beautiful Nile Delta.
