I continued to develop the technique of using metal net in a fired ceramic piece. Now I wanted to obtain organic forms. I started to use different materials and higher firing temperatures. In this process I dealt with fragility and strength.
The forms and impressions of these sculptures refer to shells. I gave these sculptures names after butterflies, the most harmless creatures I can imagine. For me they represent all innocent victims found in ancient and modern ruins.
